Image Colorizer

Last updated: July 25, 2026

RiDGo Entertainment ("we", "us", or "our") is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with the Image Colorizer mobile application (the "Application"). We are based in the Netherlands. Contact: mail@richardgonlag.nl.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Application. Please read it carefully. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Application.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Please review this page periodically so you stay informed of any changes.

On-device processing

Colorizing runs on your Android device. Photos you select for colorization are processed locally. We do not upload your photos to our servers, and we do not operate an image-processing server for the Application.

Processed images and related history entries are stored only on your device, unless you choose to save them to your gallery or share them with another app through the system share sheet.

Information we collect

The Application does not require an account and does not use analytics or advertising SDKs.

Depending on how you use the Application, the following may apply:

This Privacy Policy does not cover Google Play or other third-party stores or payment services. Their own privacy policies apply to data they collect.

How we use information and legal bases

We use the limited information described above only to:

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process personal data on these bases:

On-device photo processing and local storage on your device are performed on your device for the service you request; we do not receive those photos.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your photos or purchase status for advertising or marketing profiling.

Sharing of information

We do not share user data with third parties for advertising or analytics. Purchase transactions are processed by Google Play as the payment service provider. If you use Save or Share, you choose where content goes on your device or to apps you select.

The Application may contain links to external websites (for example, this Privacy Policy or our terms). Information you provide on those sites is governed by their own policies, not this one.

Data retention and deletion

Because colorization and history are stored on your device, uninstalling the Application removes that local data from the app's storage. We do not maintain a cloud account or server-side copy of your photos or history.

Google Play purchase records remain with Google under your Google account. You can manage Play purchases through Google's account and Play settings.

If you contact us by email, we may retain your message as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterward, then delete it when it is no longer needed, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Your privacy rights (EEA / UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights under applicable data protection law, including the right to:

In the Netherlands, the supervisory authority is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Because we do not store your photos or history on our servers, those items are removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the Application on your device. For purchase records held by Google, use your Google account / Play settings. For support emails or other personal data we may hold, contact us at mail@richardgonlag.nl and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

Network communication used by the Application (for example, Google Play Billing and opening this policy online) uses encrypted connections where provided by the platform. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but we design the Application so photos used for colorization stay on your device.

Children's privacy

The Application is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information (for example, by emailing us), please contact us so we can delete it.
